About Eric
Eric Melton-White studied Art and Design at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA. His father taught him 35mm film photography and he has grown up taking and showing photographs. His apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker and a carpenter inspired him to start his own business in 2003. His 3-D work includes environmental and public artworks.
Discovering the macro-worlds of insects and spiders in his backyard inspired his photo collection, Looking Glass Arthropoda, encouraging people to see what may not be seen with a casual glance, but exists right before us.
Working as an environmental installation artist his works relate to natural environments, seeing his connection to the earth, expressing it, and making an impact on others and our world.
Eric is dedicated to living passionately and fully expressing himself. His art is an expression of our living world reflecting his experience.
